Furthermore, with enhanced usability, users can now select different units for flow rate as well as the total. Additionally, the implementation of a multiplier for the totalizer further improves the overall user experience. In other words, these enhancements make it easier for users to access and manipulate data, ultimately resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.


The UF D5500 strap-on sensor is an excellent choice for monitoring the flow rate of dirty or aerated liquids. It can be easily mounted on the outside of a plastic or metal pipe with a diameter of 12.7 mm or larger, and it is recommended for full pipes and any fluid containing solids or bubbles. To measure flow, the sensor reflects an acoustic signal back from moving particles or gas bubbles suspended in the fluid. Notably, you can install the sensor easily without shutting down the flow system. Additionally, you don’t make any contact with the moving fluid, and you don’t need to cut or drill the pipe. Another significant advantage is that the sensor does not accumulate fouling or scale build-up.


The UF D5500 Doppler Flow Meter is a multifunctional device. Firstly, the ultrasonic sensor ensures accurate and reliable measurements. Secondly, users can easily calibrate the device with its simple 5-key calibration system. Additionally, users can view and monitor the flow rate accurately with the large digital flow rate display with totalizer. Moreover, the device offers greater control over the flow with its isolated 4-20mA output and two programmable control relays. Furthermore, users can easily track and record flow data with the standard data logger. Finally, the device offers an optional intrinsically safe sensor, providing an additional layer of safety for hazardous environments.
